Mods I hope this is ok to post here.

My father in law and I are in Kerry for a few days. We would love to play Dooks tomorrow (Friday) but need a member to bring us out.

On the off chance that there would be a member looking in here and would be willing to bring out two guests please send me a PM. Thank you.

If you've no luck with Dooks, give Beaufort GC (only 20 mins from Dooks) a call, they have an open day every Friday and it's only €20 and I'll gaurentee you'll be plesantly surprised with the quality of the course and the food (in particular the burger and shepherds pie) ain't have bad either.

If you are in the area, just call in and ask if anyone is going out. Its a VERY friendly club and I would be surprised if they could not hook you up or offer you a deal. My advice would be to go to the bar and have a coffee, once you engage the barman .... he will point you in the right direction and hopefully hook you up.

If you cant get a spot, then Killorglin GC is only a few minutes down the road and a handy track with good staff.

I see Dooks are doing 1 year trial membership for €580 next year. Any members here who can give some info on the club? Have played it several times and like the course!
