Have enough rams to keep me going here this year, but Cran appears to have some fine lengthy rams alright from the pics we've seen.

Have three entered, hogget and two lambs will put up pics if anyone interested. Probably one of two sales I ll enter as sell most from house

I think it's a great catalogue this year, we have great mix of Irish, English and French breeding here.

Sure do all stap eligible :D
Hogget is 4 star terminal, middle lamb is 5 star and front lamb is 3 star.

tbh this is my 4th yr in lambplus and more confused with stars this year than ever before, have decent accuracies but struggling to see any consistency between breeding lines for stars year on year...

My point exactly, we've used only high LMI/starred stock rams for the last twenty years...at least they were high index when we used them, two of them were 5 star with 77% and80% accuracy and they're now one star and have pulled our ewes down accordingly..all very frustrating.
Some ewes can have a very different star rating when they're being mated than when they're allotting stars to her lamb the following year.
I think the difference in the star rating in 12 mths of the three rams used in the better farm ewe lamb trial says it all...a complete lottery

Grand sold all, over 500 for both lambs in a sticky trade, and 750 for hogget to a breeder so not to bad. Was tough day for trade though
