UPC Citywest Temp Job

    Hi,

    Is anyone here working for UPC in Citywest?

    Through Manpower I got offered a trial tomorrow with them for a 4 week contract.

    The job is for people looking to get rid of their horizon boxes she said it would be 450 calls a day and I have to make 50 appointments with engineers.

    I've never worked in a call centre so not sure if I will be able.

    Those targets are insane. 450 calls a day is a call a minute (assuming you are working 8.5 hours and get a 30 minute lunch) If even one of them wants a little extra info you are fecked....Now if you are working more hours a day it "MIGHT" be manageable but otherwise.

    Yes that's true now that you break it down its crazy.

    It was only for a few weeks anyway and I have a job for the time being I'll leave it for now and keep searching.
