Did this on Saturday, Nice route with decent surfaces for the most part, the food stop was very poor, It came at 50km. Just some buns and cake out of the boot of a car in Dingle. They got us some hot water to make coffee. There were no other food or water stops but there was plenty of food at the end.

Approx 1/4 of the riders were Orwell Wheelers. Maybe 40 out of 160 at a guess. I tagged along with 2 of their groups over the day and we did a nice pace despite the wind.

Several riders got directed by a Marshall onto the 80km route and missed the Conor Pass. The same Marshall tried to direct me that way but I knew the Conor Pass was ahead so I didnt take the turn although several of my group did and then turned back when they realised the mistake. The Marshall seemed to think we were the 80km group.

It said on the TKAS website that the Marshalls would be off the roads by 4pm and the group I was in didnt finish until 5.15. I felt we did a good pace so this was a bad guess by organisers although there was a Marshall in Castlemaine when I passed through at around 4.30 ish.

Overall I had a good day but that was down to the good company in the groups I was in. I wouldn't take part again as I felt It was poorly organised for €30.

I didn't take part in Day 2 but they may have sorted out the problems for the second day.
