Hi, I'm wondering would any farmer in East Cork area need someone to shoot rabbits on their farmland? I'm a first time poster, long time reader of boards. I have a .22 and a shotgun and I'm very careful. Been shooting for over 40 years and in East Cork Gun Club.

Come up to Monaghan and I'll give you all the rabbits you want! Shot over 100 in one night with lamps. Absolutely plagued by them

That's mad, was like that here up until a few years ago. Can't remember the last time I saw one now. Miximatosis wiped them all out.

Was at a wedding a few years ago and seated at the table were a farming couple from Galway, other 2 couples were townies. During the conversation I happened to mention that I had to dispatch 2 rabbits the week previous when baling due to myxi. The Galway couple lit up like new years eave and asked me could I get my hands on live myxi rabbits.
Apparently rabbits in an area can become immune to the local strain of myxi??
