I want to know if this laptop will be good for mainly coding and photoshop.

Its the Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series.

    Specs:

    5th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-5200U Processor (3M Cache, up to 2.70 GHz)

    12GB Dual Channel DDR3L at 1600MHz

1TB 5400 rpm SATA Hard Drive

    NVIDIA® GeForce® 920 4GB DDR3. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to get an SSD drive instead of the 5400rpm hard drive? Does Dell still allow you to configure laptops?

Well, you've given us very little to go on, but I don't think you'd need to plump for the i7

Wouldn't the 5200 rpm HDD not be a bottleneck?

Do you think yeah, is there any laptop you know of with a ssd with maybe about 480gb or that in around a price range of 700-800, as finding it hard to find a good one with a ssd.

A 512GB Samsung EVO 850 would set you back €250

How much are the laptops that you're looking at? Link?
