Be prepared for splits. Tractor lads whose nose us out of joint cause the car and bike lads won't wait on runs etc. It's hard to keep the peace. Have a "Mission Statement" and draw up a charter from the word go. Have a dispute resolution process outlined and ready to go.
Sorry if that sounds terribly negative, but you'll have lots of fun times as well.

You can get that message statement from the vintage society of Ireland
    http://www.irishvintagesociety.ie/
They will help ya set up and you have to register with them for club insurance and cheap vintage machine insurance

We just meet in a house for the meetings and the tractor runs are done from the FILs yard (after a bit of a tidy up)

Local club meet in a Pub/Restaurant.
Free meeting room provided in exchange for the hope of selling a few pints.
I know that Longford Vintage Club have rented a premises in the old Army Barracks in the town centre.
