Hi, Has anyone had Phakic IOL done and would be so kind as to share their experience? My corneas (too thin) and subscription (very short sighted) make me unsuitable for laser surgery so that only leaves Phakic IOL as an option. Hi,

Has anyone had Phakic IOL done and would be so kind as to share their experience?

My corneas (too thin) and subscription (very short sighted) make me unsuitable for laser surgery so that only leaves Phakic IOL as an option.

Also I'm trying to decide between Mater Private or Wellington Eye Clinic. I know Optical Express is also an option but they don't offer a lifetime guarantee like the other two and I'm kind of wary of them given they have received some negative comments on this forum regarding other matters.
