Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with this.
I have been working for 4 years in this company and they are now offering Voluntary Redundancies. Basically we can declare an interest and they choose who gets it.

3 of the years I worked there I was on fixed term contracts that they just kept renewing with various durations each time. I was finally made permanent just over a year ago.

My question is should if I get acceppted for the redundancy should I be entitled to the full 4 years I wouked there or just the 1 I was permanent for? I've been continuosly employed the whole time and was pensionable for the whole time I was here.

    Thanks

Contract work is considered continuous employment for the purposes of redundancy, provided that you were contracted directly to your current employer and not an agency.

The company themselves should have a team internally who are handling this. Ask them what your situation would be.
