Hadn't heard anything about this, but saw it advertised in this week's Sky preview email. Starts on Thursday on Fox HD, but all 6 episodes have already aired in the States.

They absolutely NAIL the 70s noir presentation style, and it's very very very very very very very very funny. :)

Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, Haley Joel Osmont, Michael Sheen, Maya Rudolph, Peter Coyote... brilliant cast.

20 minutes each. You'll fly through them.

Tried the Spoils of Babylon last night too, doesn't seem as good but I'll give it a chance,

The Spoils of Babylon came first, last year, The Spoils Before Dying is the newer series from this year.

I've only seen the first two episodes of Before Dying, (I plan to watch the next four tonight), but I found Babylon a lot funnier.

Just watched the first episode, and now all I can think of are Booze & Pills. Pills & Booze. Booze & Pills. For crying out loud, can someone please get that fricking singer some Pills & Booze?!?

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

I was a little underwhelmed by this. Started the spoils of Babylon and like it a bit better.

Yeah I watched Spoils of Babylon since, and I think I enjoyed that more. Any scenes with that mannequin cracked me up. :)
