I am looking to buy a good laptop around 700 to 850 Euro. Hd screen, good graphics, 1TB hard drive, 8GB of ram or more, blu- ray drive. I also want to get Windows 10 on it as well. I am looking but not sure what would be a good make to get.

    Asus
    Lenovo
    Hp
    Dell

800 is a lot for a laptop these days without it being designed for a specific purpose.

Blu-ray is going to be hard to fulfil. No one uses them, and most laptops have no disc drive at all these days.

It'll be a few months before you'll see laptops in the shops with Win10, although you can upgrade any laptop you buy to 10 anyway(for free), so this shouldn't be a concern.

1TB is nice if you absolutely need the storage, but might I suggest an SSD? However, this might be really pushing the limit on your budget.

Check out the XPS13, it's pricey but it's on of the best out there at the moment.

Is the upgrade free for ever or just for the year and what type of win 10 do you get to upgrade to for free.

It'll be a like for like upgrade to 10. So if you buy Pro, you will get Pro 10.

This looks pretty good...apply the 10% discount currently available and you have it for around €850.

I can't find any Inspiron 15 5000 for 948 euro, that seems an awful lot considering the 5000 series isn't a premium line.

What do you actually need the laptop for?

If you want it to be fast, you should look at laptops with a Solid State Drive or consider the possibility of installing an SSD yourself.

    Is battery life important?

No battery life would not be that important. But would like on to last around 5 hours.

A few points that may help you
Cost: That is a lot to pay for a laptop. You can get one with what your looking for, for less. I think around €600 should do the job for you.
You won't get a laptop pre-installed with Windows 10 for a few months now. Its only just been release. But you will get a laptop with Windows 8 and you can upgrade straight away.
I don't know about a blue ray drive, it's not the most popular format, and a lot of laptops don't even have disk drives anymore. They sell external drives to do the job.

This can't be guaranteed. A relatively cheap laptop could outlast a more expensive one depending on care and maintenance as well as factoring in that all hardware can (and does) fail before its optimum lifespan. Having said that, Asus world have a decent reliability rating.

I'd say your best shot really is to get the Inspiron 15 5000 series for 579 euro.

It comes with windows 10, an i5 processor, 8gb of ram and 1tb hard-drive.

Then if you want to you could install a solid state drive instead of the HDD to speed things up.

Also you could probably install a blu ray drive if you really wanted to.

It's not a perfect laptop but its terrific value at that price.

You're probably best off saving your cash until you can afford the spec you want, you're looking for really top of the line stuff here.

    Top processor.
    Full HD screen.
16GB RAM (8 would be standard these days...)
Blu-ray drive (I have to ask why the need for this...)
And some element of dedicated graphics.

You've got to be looking at 1k there.

You might be able to get a discount on this one and knock between 50 and 100 euros off it...
