VOTE for The Best Attended Carwash In Ireland !!!

    Nominations Please......

Ok so I prefer to wash my own car but when I'm working away from home its not possible so I'm occasionally forced to use a car wash. Having used a few carwash places I've found there's alot of scallys in the business only interested in a quick buck, but who'll leave your car looking dirty or even damaged with their half arsed attempt at washing it.

My nomination goes to Dublin Carwash
(At Carpark Beside Lifestyle Sports, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre)

Been using this Carwash a few months now, they give a good prewash, make a good effort,
always dry with microfibre, and seem genuinely interested in cleaning your car as if it was there own...

Only ever used 1 and was desperate as was going through health issue which stopped me.

They are/were at tesco, Wilton shopping centre, Cork. Nothing wrong there work to be fair.

Otherwise I vote for my house for posh wash.

I'd be worried about what chemicals they are using and how many vehicles the wash media has been used on.

It's been 5/6 years sense I let someone wash my cars.

A maintance package from a good detailer/valeter or even get them to wash it.

The only person washing my car is......ME.
I know sometimes they can be time problems with work or been away from home but I'd rather have my car go dirty for a while than let someone else at it.
Then I know that when it's done it's done right

I could train a monkey to wash a car, not exactly rocket science.

Best attended car wash is one that a good valeting or detailing company will do.

You can thank me for that I always asked them to dry my car with microfibre everytime I was there, at first they were not happy with it and even laughed at me once or twice, they wanted to jelly dry my car, even asked me to pay more for it once or twice.
After a while they just did it without asking any question

5 Star valeting behind Denis Mahony on the Kilbarrack Road in Dublin get my vote. The guy who runs it really has a superb eye for attention to detail.

The only person aside from myself that I would trust to wash my car properly would be Elite Auto Clean

I used to be a fan of a few but with a recent experiences I don't want to recommend any of them.
I'm pretty sure most posters here only have used local car washes so "best in the country" is a bit of a stretch.

DIY cleaning is the best way for sure.

Not if the DIYer uses a yard brush and a bucket of TFR with some water :pac:

I had my car washed at Elite over the weekend. Top job. I do a lot of travelling around the country and its a real struggle to find an attended car wash that will do a decent job.

I've never used elite but have heard good things about them here, however they are one of the most expensive places around compared to most other places.

It's been a while since I've washed my own car, in fact my current car I've never washed myself, so instead I usually get it done in one of the Albanian/Romanian places for 12 quid which includes drying, windows and tyre shine. To be fair to them as well they don't use a brush or sponge either. When I get home I go over the body with demon shine and clean the interior myself.

I am thinking lately of getting a proper full valet and maybe a paint correction job on it as well. For the valet I was thinking of trying Janelle Speed Wash as they seem the best priced around.

I want to learn more about how the paint correction works before I start looking as prices.
