    First ones going in:

Stillorgan Luas Park & Ride (this is in and commissioned (and a DBT piece of ****) but they are having some problems, DC is down for both ChaDeMo and CCS)
    Topaz, Omni-Park Santry
Topaz, Clonshaugh (by Bewley’s Airport Hotel)
    Stillorgan Park Hotel

Topaz Omni Park is about two months out. They are refurbishing in 4-5 weeks and it will be around then that the charger gets installed.

I understand that Bandon, Cork is being turned on this month as well.

I have similar pictures of CP in Ballynahinch.. Sadly this CP was vandalized last year and I doubt if it will ever be replaced. New the technology, same old people.Sorry if off thread.

All part of the rapidchargenetwork.com roll out I believe. Would love it if ESB roll out a few in the west. Badly covered for most EVs.

Definitely, even in terms of standard chargers, regions like west Cork, Connemara and Mayo have very poor coverage. It would be great to see a situation where the rapid charger network would extend along the Wild Atlantic Way, for example.

Covering the Wild Atlantic Way is the plan for the rollout through september/october. I'd expect rapids at regular intervals starting from Bantry to be on the plan.

Nope, RCN funding covers only two chargers in the republic. One is the Stillorgan P+R.

The map on the RCN website shows 4 around Dublin. http://rapidchargenetwork.com/drivers.php

More fast chargers in the west will be good. ESB announced this last November. I suppose they will all be up by late November in one massive installation drive?

Oh No, We don't need a disastrous U.K style multi network Charge point infrastructure !!! disaster !!! Rip off electricity prices this should be stopped now before it starts, only one good thing it might keep people from using them for free leccy.

The RCN program is just providing the funding. They are standard ESB rapids.

Nope, afraid not. ESB even waits a few days after commissioning to add rapids to the map.

That's not so bad but how are they going to be funded for these chargers ?

? RCN is funded by the EU.

Not sure I'm a big fan of the new signs. On the plus side they now say charging only.

    Stillorgan Park hotel installed today.

Nice location actually, literally on the N11 and they have three 7.4kW chargers already with four dedicated and painted bays on the other side of the hotel.
Plenty of parking even at night so hopefully the hotel will enforce the bays.
The existing bays seem to be always unoccupied but the new rapid charger is much closer to the entrance.
