Getting insured

    hi all
just thinking of getting insurance and wanted to run a few things by you lot with experience. I mostly just cycle to and from work, with the odd cycle after work or at the weekend. For work I use Dublin Bikes as its just handier for many reasons. I'm wondering do any policies cover you when you're using a Dublin Bike? It seems that they cover your bike more than you. I'd like cover for my own bike but I'm probably more likely to have an accident with the DB.

Also, my bike is second hand, and I'm wondering would it be an issue that I don't have proof of ownership if I was to have to make a claim?

Also wondering what insurance providers you would recommend? I've just looked at two, but the two were very different prices, one being €23 and the other being €50.

Appreciate any help you can give.
