B&Q are selling new Mira showers from E130 at the moment (Wednesday 15th), I bought one and has a 2yr guarantee, Old one had similar but opposite problem to you, wouldn't cool down, I was quoted E100 ish to repair, so new one was better option, I thought.

Sometimes when you have problems with water temperatures, it can simply mean that your shower head needs to be de-scaled. If there is limescale buildup, it can block/restrict the flow, leading to problems with the temperature. You can descale it by soaking it in vinegar. Might be worth a try.

    You need an electrician.

Or a plumber who is also a qualified electrician.

I wish I could recommend a good sparky, but they're hard to find.
