New immersion fitted.. Probaby very simple question..

    New immersion fitted, and since have gas heating downstairs, but none in rads upstairs..

    Any ideas why?
    Probably a v simple fix of a knob just being turnd, but dont wanna go turning things randomly..

    Have you a thermostat in a bedroom upstairs? If so, and its set to a lower temperature than ambient (i.e. the air temperature) then it won't come on. It's been fairly warm of late, so that could explain it.

    Perhaps someone turned off a wrong valve when isolating the cylinder to replace the immersion heater.

    btw Are you referring to the electric heating element when you say immersion?
