Looking to acquire a new car and am torn between these two cars. Was looking for any advice on either? prefer the inside of the Volvo, however the 3-door and only 4-seater factors are throwing me off a small bit. any info on re-sale, troubles, cost of repairs and parts and general info greatly appreciated.

These two cars are at opposite ends of the spectrum to each other, what criteria are you looking at to arrive at either of these?

Assuming you're looking at petrol models, the volvo is a 1.6l as opposed to the polos 1l or 1.2, so bit of a jump there in terms of engine size, fuel consumption and also bhp the volvo is 98 as opposed to 69 for the polo.

I'm looking for diesel so both are around 1.6 which is the max engine size I want. Not many of either around and both around the €7500-€9999. Max I'm willing to spend too but looking for a car that will last me a good few years, easy on fuel costs and repairs if needed.
