Single Tax credit vs PAYE Tax credit

    When I filled my 12A application (over a year ago) I picked "Single Tax Credit", but now I can see that the "PAYE tax credit" option is available to claim in my account in the revenue website.

    What is the difference between PAYE and Single, both have 1650 euro tax credit per year. Is there any benefit if I choose to claim PAYE tax credit?
