ive been approved for illness benefit, got paid from 22/06 - 06/07...handed my cert in last Monday 13/07 and no payment...emailed them the other day and said payment is usually issued within 2days..grand, still nothing...got onto them again, and they said it hasn't been keyed in and as soon as it is I will be paid, are they normally this slow. This Monday coming will be the 4th cert ...I'm going to speak to my social welfare office Monday (portarlington)... Do they not realise ppl are stuck for money...don't get me wrong they've been great with emails, bar today when I asked what the delay was ...I'm always polite so wasn't rude,

    Tia

Talk to your local CWO and ask for a interim payment.

Well c that's the thing I've been back dated Money so realistically ( I reckon a week and a half a money) there should be no other delay, I've been approved, recieved money, meant to be getting the 13/07 money I'm due to hand in my cert Monday coming so what's the delay I wonder...a relative gets his no prob he hands his in on a tue afternoon, by thur he has his, he's in dublin ....
