Setanta Pricing for new season

I just got a mail from Setanta confirming their pricing for the new season. The annual package price is gone from €199.00 to €225.00.
Also the new multi-room charge is now €25 per box

Multi room charge is high

What I did was with 2 sky sports subscibers, I was the main setanta customer, I added their sky box numbers to my account, we split the costs 3 ways for the setanta pack

They also mention Setanta Sports 1 will be available in HD from August

the live European football games from germany, france, italy are the reason I get the setanta pack
its better value than sky sports

Personally i wont be renewing my setanta subscription as its definitely not worth the money, i only got it for BT and ESPN and can honestly say i rarely watched setanta at all, i never watched the games they showed at 3 because they were usually pants, and now that liverpool are in the europa league, a lot of their games will be on sunday's so iv'e no real need for BT either.

With the quality of the 3 PM games last season I don't see how they are putting up the prices. For the majority of people champions league is the main attraction and 2 games fta each week will be plenty for most. Starting to charge extra for HD is brining it into line with btsport in the UK. I wonder will we see as many offers as we did last year?

It's €25 for first box and €5 each for any other box. (Can have maximum 4 multiroom boxes with Main box)

Already have RTE and 3e for European football, can only watch one at a time anyway.

Really couldn't care about any other sports.

Only redemption is Serie A and bundesliga coverage.

With the new pricing you can stay at €21.99, but either have to take out a 12 month contract or drop HD. To get a HD subscription with "no contract" (should really read a two month minimum) you now have to pay €25 per month.

Oddly they mention "Six HD channels". A mistake? Setanta Sports 1 (Premier Sports) will be in HD from Monday but nothing has been announced about Setanta Ireland HD.

I'd say a mistake most likely. I wonder what's happened to this Setanta player service
