Interested in making our own black pudding. Is it possible to get pigs blood? No idea where or how to start.

Your best place to start is to ask your local butcher.

If you do get pig's blood you may find this thread of interest.

I have used dried pigs blood from weschenfelder direct in the UK (just google it) They have dried pigs blood which you might find easier to handle.

I found it easy to use, just follow the instructions, and it had no added flavourings so I could use my own recipe.

Let us know how you get on, please.
