Streaming a Laptop On My TV Via a Saorview Box

    Hi,

    Im just wondering could I stream my laptop on my Tv using my saorview box. There is a slot for a Hdmi on both my laptop and and the back of the saorview box, when I plug it in nothing seems to happen. If anyone could give me a step by step guide on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Forgot to mention my 2 different saorview boxes are triax t212 and tv star t1020

    HDMI on the Saorview box is output only.

    Why not connect the laptop directly to the TV via HDMI?

    Chromecast or similar are great for streaming from your laptop to your TV.
    TV will need HDMI though.
