    Hi all,

I was hoping to get some opinions on the below bikes that I am interested in. I know the Giant doesn't use a complete groupset and is probably a little heavier than the Focus but I like the Giant look, the cutaway in the frame for the rear wheel looks pleasing.

    Links to specs:
    Giant
    Focus

    Thanks.

I'm in the process of obtaining a TCR Adv 1 myself so I'd be interested to hear some of the feedback.

Not mad about the look of the Focus tbh, I think the Giant is a far more pleasing on the eye. In terms of the performance/value of the Focus, cant really offer an opinion. The TCR is certainly regarded as a stiff but very responsive and are considered as good bang for your buck!

    Hi

i have the 2013/14 version of the cayo, it's the cayo 3 evo same spec. except in the yellow/green colour
i really like it, upgraded the wheels to Campag Zonda just last weekend
can't really find a fault with the Cayo tbh
what wheels on the Giant ? have heard wheels might need an upgrade

    happy cycling

Are you still able to order the 2015 TCR Advanced or have you sourced one somewhere in your size. I ask because there was a lot of unhappy cyclists waiting for months on there order. I was lucky and got mine, although I waited a while. I'd recommend it but be careful about sizing, I found the bike sizes look a lot smaller than they are. (mainly the reach / distance from saddle to bars)

    Thanks for the replies.
My LBS have told me they have secured a Giant in my size so the option is there. It's just trying to choose between the two. Giant looks better, the wheels are their own model so will probably need upgrading when funds allow. Whereas the focus while prob. not as pretty :) offers good band for the buck too and seems to be the lighter bike.
    Decisions, decisions!!

Giant is a compact crank, where the Focus is a semi-compact 52/36 so slightly higher geared. Both lovely bikes.
