Was just wondering when you're out on a recovery spin what heart rate and cadence should you be trying to keep it at?

If it's a proper recovery you need to keep your effort to an absolute minimum - essentially zone 1 with no efforts - your aim on HR should be to keep it low. Increasing cadence will raise the HR - just do what you are comfortable with without pushing the HR up

my recovery spins involve sitting on the couch drinking coffee. I am an extreme recoverist tho.

The OP is talking about recovery from strenuous cycles, not a night on the razz.....

True, beer is for recovery from a spin, coffee recovery for the beer and finally a spin to make the most of the coffee
