I just want sports, nothing else. No Dave, no UK Gold, no movies, etc.!

I'm happy with Saorview\Freesat and would just like to buy a package to set Sky Sports and BT Sports. Is thee a way to do this with Sky or UPC without paying for a bundle of other channels? I cannot find a way :(

BT Sport is available as part of the Setanta Sports pack. You can subscribe to this on satellite without the need of any entertainment packages. Sky Sports is not available without the entertainment rubbish on satellite or UPC. However Now TV offers a Sky Sports only option but it's not available in this country.

Thanks for the info/ I'll look into that Now TV but I doubt I can get it without a UK address though.

I do have a motorised satellite dish and a good Vu+ box in case that make any difference...

Just to add to that you will need a Sky digibox to watch Setanta/BT. However you should be able to pick up one on eBay reasonably cheaply or off a friend who has ditched Sky. You will need to call Setanta and get them to issue a Sky viewing card when you sign up.

More info on Now tv here:

They release a new NowTV box on 15th August for £15 and launch a Sky Sports monthly pass for £31.99 on same date.

Is there a way to get beIN Sports or Fox Sports here? They seem to show all the matches of the big clubs (Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and City).

Good question. Is there a way to get the opposite of that?
