Such an incredible musician with stunning releases covering everything from ambient to full-on hard trance on Harthouse in the 90s. His album 'Sakura' from 2000 was what really got me hooked and I've been a fan ever since - a genuine classic album and up there with the very best. This is from Sakura...

Zen is another Gem from the mid 90s under his Ebi alias, mellow techno with lovely acid lines throughout - very much under the radar album.

Only knew his Frankfurt Tokyo Connection stuff. I still dance around the room to Astralis.

Ah the golden age of HH EyeQ

Looking forward to checking out some of his other albums.

Big fan for years. My old man gave me an Ebi Ten cassette in the late 90's and managed to track the cd down a few years back. Well trippy and served me well at after-party sessions.

Amazing that his family only released news of his death to the press after they realized he was so popular outside Japan. He died in March.

Ah man - nice amount of music to get to know so! I'd probably go with Sakura & Ebi first for a bit of variety...

Wow, I didn't know his family weren't aware of his popularity!

On a side note - good to see a Bujinkan member posting here! I trained before and planning to start back in the next couple of weeks in Dublin.

Good stuff. (Been trainin 27 years, just back from recent Japan trip!)

I also have Ebi-Zen on Vinyl. which i only played for the first time a week before i heard about his death. Last two tracks are really gorgeous!
