I have marks on my car like the ones shown below. Any idea on how to remove them?

    Thanks

Was it parked under or quite near a tree for a period of time??
Or near something like frequent BBQs or similar burning?

Have you tried washing it at all? Do the marks not budge?

Get some All Purpose Cleaner. Spray it on and let it dwell for a while. Most of it will wash off with a pressure washer.
Some spots will probably remain and a clay bar will do the job on that.

If APC doesn't work try Tar Remover or WD40. Again let soak for 10 mins before wiping off. Then wash and wax.

Had similar black spots on the roof of a silver car. The worst had been removed but tar remover didn't make any major difference to what was left. User error maybe, got rid of a few alright, but I think clay bar might be needed.

thanks very much guys. i ll try what was mentioned. oh ive scrubbed it alright, using different car shampoos with no luck. best results was with pressure washer, but that was minimalistic at best. was considering t-cut but i think its best not to. i ll report back. thanks

That seems to be bonded to the paintwork from what you've said. A clay bar and plenty of lubrication will get rid of it easily enough.

    Oh jaysus no haha

"Lubrication" in car detailing terms is a quick detailer product, water and wash-up liquid in a spray bottle etc. You need it to provide lubrication for the clay to move on the surface. Without it the clay will just stick in the one place and not budge.

What you need is THIS and THIS
