Where to find a solicitor to partner with?

    Hello,

I'm an American attorney currently working to set up a company structure in Ireland to allow my US clients to take advantage of Ireland's legal and tax framework. I've been talking to several Irish corporate solicitors, but it occurs to me that I'd much prefer to have a partner/co-owner based in Ireland to act as a sort of general counsel. This isn't exactly the sort of thing I'd expect to go over well if I posted to a jobs board, so I wonder if anyone here has any suggestions about where or how I might approach entrepreneurial solicitors to discuss a potential partnership. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thank you!

You could place an ad in the Law Society Gazette?

If you are advising clients about tax in Ireland, I'd suggest that you may need a tax adviser. Such a person may be able to recommend a solicitor to you, if you require one.
