I'm in Russia currently and bought a Logitech controller today but it doesn't seem to work with skyrim, does anybody know how I could fix this problem or am I better of returning it for an Xbox controller

I don't know if it's still relevant, but Xpadder used to be popular for games without native controller support. Basically maps keyboard/mouse controls onto your control pad of choice.

if returning it is an option...
one of my fav features of the xbox controller is that loads of games support it natively. So all the bindings are changed automatically and (typically) all the key prompts change to xbox button prompts also.

So you dont need to muck around with assigning keys for each game via third party software. And then when theres a button prompt for ctrl, or tab, you dont have to try and remember to which controller button you'd that assigned etc
