If i had 800 quid and were looking at Seiko watches, I'd take about 500 and get me a Seiko Preasge SARX015 from Japan and for the rest I'd get a G-shock and drinks with the wife

You seem to have a bent towards tool divers watches so I'd go for a Tuna in your shoes - what price can they get this one in for, assuming they can?

I'd steer clear of anything with bluetooth in it - that's not going to be there for the long haul.

    Tuna is nice..

How about Stowa Flieger or Ikarus

    http://www.stowa.de/Flieger/index.htm

or the cheap as chips and great bang for you buck , Steinhart Ocean 1 GMT or any one of their divers, and plenty of change

Sell the voucher for 600-700 and then buy a stowa/Stein new or a second hand omega/breitling (you might have to add a little).

The OP has vouchers for a specific shop!

I like this Seiko quite a lot.

The Seiko solar diver you posted earlier comes in different colour combos (if it's the one I am thinking of). I had the one with a black & blue bezel and it looked pretty nice. The blue and red one might be a bit bright.

But all the ones you've posted look pretty cool - I think you'd be safe with any one of them.

Of the watches you've linked I love the black and green of the Citizen Proximity, wouldn't be bothered about the bluetooth functionality - just think it looks great.

If it was me with 800 to spend from that shop I'd problably get a couple of watches rather than one. I'm a big fan of g-shocks so I'd definitely want to see what his stock is like with them. Maybe get a Seiko & G-Shock or Seiko & Citizen and still have change left over. These are nice (partial to a bit of colour sometimes :)):

SEIKO SOLAR GENTS DIVERS ORANGE STRAP WATCH

    and

    CITIZEN SCUBAFIN WATCH BN0095-16E
    or
    CITIZEN SCUBAFIN WATCH BN0090-52E

Or maybe have a look at other Seiko models and see if they can order one in (like the SKX you linked).

Nothing that nice or of decent value ( for the asking price) on that site.
If you can, sell the voucher for 100 quid less and be happy with the 700 quid to buy a much better value and quality watch online, or a few days away with the missus or something thats actually worth spending money on. Or save it!

No point in spending money just for the sake of spending money.
