Has 3's data coverage improved?

Probably should have posted this here instead of 3's subforum.

I'm tempted by Carphone warehouse's iphone 5c deal. Unlimited data is the big draw. I will primarily be using this phone for data rather than calls or texts. 3's data coverage hasn't had the best reputation; has the quality improved?

I also notice the posters have a big 4G sticker on them, but in the tiniest of print imaginable underneath it says "for a year, then we bump you back to 3G" :P

    Thoughts anyone?

They always say they will charge for things in the future to protect themselves but in fairness to Three, they don't.

They are also the only network that offer All You Can Eat genuine unlimited data. All the rest have fair use caps which they enforce, whereas Three rarely if ever do.

Their €20 deal is the best around.

They have their flaws, downtime can be a pain in the ass but access to that much data with anyone else would burn a giant hole in your phóca.

I recommend getting yourself a Huawei E5776 4G modem as that way even when their speed is poor, you will at least have decent connection of around 2-3Mbps.

Thanks for the info. Funny you should say that. I plan to use the 5c as a hotspot for a non-ios device; does that even work?

Eh, you should have posted it where you posted it instead of somewhere where you didn't post it?

This isn't the forum for this OP - either use 3's talk to forum (http://www.boards.ie/ttforum/1367), or try the mobile forum (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=411)
