Help needed with a new bike please.

I've been looking at buying a new bike for over two months now and I just can't get my head around it at all. I'm totally bamboozled with everything that's on offer. I'm not at all up on the technical side of it so it's like reading double Dutch. My price range is around €1,600 (give or take a couple of hundred!). These three are in and around my price range but can anyone decipher for me which one would be better or maybe all three are a pile or crap. I haven't a clue.

I cycle twice a week with a club and do maybe 7 or 8 sportives during the year. My average distance per spin would be between 80 to 100k.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Thanks for that Izoard. I'm going to be in Athlone in the next few weeks, do they have a physical shop that I can call into and see the bikes for myself?

They build to order, but I'm sure they have some stock in Athlone - give 'em a call!

For that money I think you would be looking to at least get ultegra 11sp group. Canyon and rose are good online retailers as is wiggle. Ridley are another excellent brand. Read up on group sets and wheel sets so you know what you can expect to get for your cash

Sold out in most sizes at the moment, but 11speed ultegra on a carbon frame for €1600 from Canyon here as an example of what can be gotten. There might also be options in their outlet. They also have a very good size/fit calculator online once you measure yourself correctly.
