NCT fail on emissions..any ideas?

    Car is running on LPG and petrol...failed twice on enmissions, last week the tester put it down to a loose backbox sucking in air...

    Readings...
    LOW idle

    CO....0.22%...PASS

    High idle
    Lambda...1.096.....fail
    CO....0.72%...fail
    HC....188ppm....Pass

    Today....

    Low idle..0.11%...Pass

    High idle
    Lambda..0.98...Pass
    CO...1.3%...Fail
    HC..224PPM....Fail

    I'm assuming that he tested it on gas as it switches itself over after a couple of seconds...

    Any experts out there explain the vast (imo) differences in 50km of driving and tightening a clamp...:confused:
