    Completely different laptop markets.

    The Dell is for multimedia consumption, the MSI is a (light) gaming machine.

    GTX 840m isn't too powerful though, if you want to play modern/future games I'd go for a machine with at least a GTX 860m/960m.

    So like the extent of my gaming is football manager and Civilization, Are you saying the GTX wouldnt perform well in multimedia ?

    It would perform just fine.

    FYI, both of those laptops aren't available outside the US Microsoft store.
