So I'm looking at kitchens at the moment and am talking to a few different companies. Does anybody have recommendations of good places to consider? I am looking at Conneely Custom Built Kitchens at the moment just outside Oranmore. Does anybody have any good or bad experiences with them?

No idea about these but the site has some really nice stuff, I'm interested to hear feedback on them.
I called into the big DIY chain store (I don't think I can name them publicly but pm if required) and the quality of stuff was crap with stuff just falling apart on the display units can't imagine they'd last long in a working kitchen.

Tomas Connell did a great job on our kitchen at a reasonable price. After four years of hard use it's holding up well. We've had him back a couple of times since to do some other work.

We got some work done by Connelly kitchens, they do have really nice, good quality stuff, the fitting wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped but they sorted issues in the end. They're expensive but worth a look.

Thanks for the tips guys. My main problem now is trying to decide between all the different kitchen options!

Another option for you to throw into the mix! Kreation kitchens in Athenry. We had a kitchen fitted by them late last year and we're delighted with how it turned out. A few people who've seen ours have gone to him too! He has a big showroom in Athenry.
Couple of pics of ours attached.
