I'm thinking about doing yoga for the first time in my life. I am about 100kg and really I should be closer to 85 I suppose. I am a guy with a beer belly and a muffin top for want of a better word.

I am going to take my health and fitness my seriously now as at 35 I can make changes and can help myself a bit.

Aside from gym and fitness stuff I am interested in yoga as well as a compliment. Do many overweight people do yoga? The last time I stretched was to pick up a doughnut and don't want to be the ridiculous overweight guy in with the super fit yoga ninjas!

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

Yoga's not about fitness. You don't ask any more of your body than it can give. You'll improve gradually.
