was in mart today and mart manager was commenting that a good few farmers dont know theirs, i know mine and my dads, so do you know yours/

They rattle around my brain along with other mundane numbers like bank accounts, wheelie bin ID numbers, jeeps/vans/tractors/lorry reg numbers, a huge quantity of tag numbers - last 4 digits, numerous telephone numbers etc

Damn, that's impressive stuff there !!

When I started my current job four years ago I got a phone with it, still can't remember the number , actually, half the time I can't find the phone..

I've been known to have check my phone to confirm my wife's mobile numbers on more than one occasion!

Got used to writing the wheelie bin number on the bin tag every week. You have to do that in ncd.

TBH I will either have to quote them or write them a few times before they sink in. I have 4 to remember. All three begin with 1 letter & 2 numbers, two of them have letter number letter number while the third has letter letter number number and the forth has letter number number number.
Phew I'm tired after typing them let alone trying to remember them.

Just a quick question regarding herd numbers, my father retired from farming way back in 98 but he still owns the land, unfortunately he had to give up his herd number to get some sort of pension (I'm not sure of the exact details). Now the money from the retirement scheme ran out in about 2008 I think so I was wondering is there any way of getting the herd number back or would he have to go through inspections and all sorts?

Know the herd number, the other half's phone number, her number at work, the eldest fellas phone number ( he has an old phone number of mine), the contractor phone number and the bank account pin number.

i know 4 herd nos. at least 4 other farmers herd identifiers,visa card number/expiry/and the security digits( damn its way to easy to use over the phone) 2 phone numbers (mine and hers ) Taxi roof number and 2 PIN numbers.

Company I work for has a stores and all the parts have a 10 digit stock no. Thousands of parts. Purchasing guy could remember a lot of them in his head.
