    Hi everyone

    This is probably a stupid question but here goes. I am currently on a fixed term contract for 11 months which is rolling in to another 11 months. I know after 4 years they legally have to take you on.

    I worked two years with an agency in the same role with this company previous to my fixed term contract without any breaks. Does this count for anything or is it 4 years from when the actual company took me on? I cannot seem to find any information on this.

    No because you worked for them as agency staff you did not have a contract with them your contract was with the agency. So for the first 2 years you worked there but not for them. Officially you are only working for them for the last 11 months
