    Hi,

    I have recently filled out the online form to apply for a medical card and I need to get it signed by a doctor. However I can't find a list of doctors that accept medical card. I have tried to use this: [link to HSE GP map service which I'm not allowed to attach], but when I put in my address the doctors listed are specialist and only accept people from a sub-group of the population. I have also just tried using the map, but it is not very helpful.

    Is there a reliable list anywhere? For that matter does anyone have a recommendation for a medical card doctor in Dublin 8 or Dublin south central area?

    Under type of Health Service: Did you tick the GP/Family Doctor and make sure all other options are unticked. I found these.

    Thanks for that. With my address I got the Guinness practice, which is apparently only for employees or relatives of employees, but I didn't see James O'Neill's. I'll try that.
