    The Battlestar Galactica one is wrong, since it doesn't actually accelerate or have a top speed doing an FTL jump, it just disappears from one location and reappears in another, travelling a near-arbitrary distance instantly.

    In fact, I don't understand the "top speed" references at all with respect to space travel.
