    Howdy folks,

So left the missus get the car cleaned and she ended up going for hand wash with hot wax. The result now is that the bonnet now looks cloudy and the wax is still on it. Any advice how to sort it out ?

Bring it back to whoever cleaned it and tell them its not good enough and not finished. You shouldn't accept that poor performance.

Ya, not an option at the moment, I'm gone back to work and the place that did it is in Cork so I wont be able to do anything till Sat. I didnt notice it as it was pissing this morning.

Elbow grease and water will do the job.

Give it a wash with hot water and some all purpose cleaner. Will mean the wax will be gone, but show them the pictures, and they should re-do the job!

    WoW.

I'd leave it and take it back explaining that you want it fixed (not by them).

You can wash it then test isopropyl alcohol to see if it will cut through that mess.

Was it a very hot sunny day.
