I'm trying get some info on whether there is still assistance available on the Native Woodland Scheme for existing woodlands.

Googling around suggested that only Element 1 applies now - i.e establishment.

But just seen the this on Association of Irish Forestry Consultants site:

"Funding has been set aside for between 300ha – 360ha of Native Woodland Conservation per annum. This measure includes support for public and private landowners and also for emergent native woodlands."

The rest of the info on that page seems to be very uptodate. Anybody idea on whats available for native woodland conservation?
