Bamboos in Lismore, Velocity over the Vee, Run. 16th of August.

Starting a run on Sunday, the 16th of August; meeting 10 am in the far corner of the B & Q Car park in Limerick; leaving at 11am.

Itinerary not finalized yet but will probably include a 2 hour stop in Lismore at Stam Bamboo and people have a choice of staying there, going into the hotel, going into the park or going into the castle grounds.

Then a speedy whizz up to the Vee for another stop and back through Cahir.

Will post an update on the precise route nearer the time in August.

Run is still on for Sunday, all spirited drivers welcome!

Heading towards Mitchelstown via Hospital and Knocklong, with maybe a stop on the way (we'll know Sunday), and then on to Fermoy.

Travelling along the northern side of the Blackwater we'll arrive in Lismore where we'll break for lunch.

Leaving Lismore once everyone is regrouped and up The Vee where we then work our way back through South Tipp and eventually back to Limerick.

It's a long run, we won't be hanging around and at the moment the weather looks OK.

Either park in Castle Car Park or follow Healey to Stam Bamboo, Lismore where special Dutch coffee will be laid on and loads of parking..
Re-group in Castle Car Park

R668 to the Vee. (stop for view)

Turn left in Clougheen.

R665 to Ballyporeen.

Mitchelstown Note! Keep left onto R513.

R513 to Ballylanders
