These are available under citizens information and are complex but you need at least 104 contributions to qualify and there are penalties if you leave work voluntarily or are dismissed for misconduct. You get no JSB for 1st 9 weeks in those cases.

There also exists job seekers allowance which is based on your personal financial status or means. So if you have no money you may get this payment.

The last resort is supplementary welfare, where you present yourself to a community welfare officer and make an individual case for payments if you have absolutely no other source of money to get by in the short term.

So it looks as if you will have to save up enough money to last 9 weeks at least in order to jump ship in your present job.

Keep applying for jobs. If you get an interview for one you like, use your annual leave to take a half day.

You will need to prove you are genuinely seeking work and that you have been seeking it while still in your current job. You can apply for JSB/JSA but if you left voluntarily you may get disqualified for up to 9 weeks. You'll have to give a statement as to why you left. You might be refused but can appeal. It can take time though.
