Looks like the winds may blow offshore next week,if there's a good second period in that storm it'll be bedlam....
I know where I'll be surfing for sure lol

It's only forecast to be in Florida next week

But if it tracks north and west my guess will be early week after

What does this mean rodento? Can you tell me what day I should take off work. Can you tell me what spot will be 6ft and offshore on that day. Thank you grandmaster hurricane forecaster.

All you need to know is that hurricane swell is special and very very rare

A storm can form off Africa and take up to three weeks to travel across to Florida, up north to Greenland and west....

What it offers is decent waves with 16+ seconds (period) and hopefully light offshore winds

When it happens its magic and well worth waiting for but this year it looks like it's not going to happen

That's not to say we won't get good surf but the forecast has been kinda grim of late

Ah, someday you'll get it right and you can say, "see lads, called it" and tell us how epic it was. Give me a big dirty mid-winter polar front-steered low with nobody around and keep yer fancy warm water nonsense ;)

The Magicseaweed forecast is flat out for the foreseeable future.
    No sign of anything.

Although I was fishing in doughmore yesterday evening and there was a nice 4 foot face on a wave near where that concrete structure is at the north end of the beach.
The high tide was probably helping too.

That wave only lasted an hour and alas no bass either lol

Stand Up Paddling could be an option?

If forecast stays on track it'll be a insane weekend but those winds need to drop

Have tempted to to get a sneaky mid week one and wait for the winds to drop
