Hi everyone a quick question for someone that might know...I have a sky+HD box in my sitting room subscribed to sky working perfectly...I'm after getting a new HD box with no plus off a friend. So I thought that I could put this in the bedroom and just get the free to air channels along with the saoirview I have in there. I went and got cable and brought it from the quad lnb on my dish to the bedroom about 5m of cable is all but when I put everything going the box is saying "your sky HD box isn't receiving any satellite sighal" that's it no numbers or codes....any one shed any light on this for me telly in sitting room still works fine. The sky HD box in bedroom only has one input and is showing nothing on signal page...cheers for any info!

Do you know how to fit f-connectors properly or, maybe the cable came with them pre-fitted?

Test the box at the at the sitting room TV point to rule out a problem with it. Also test the working Sky+ box at the bedroom TV point to rule out a problem with the cable/LNB etc.
