What do you think is the handiest tool ye have besides the obvious 3/4x1/2 or pipeslices

For me has to be 250mm long Philips. Very handy for toilets and boilers.

While not exactly a tool, it is my favourite. I suppose next comes my really short small box-wrench and reversible bit screwdriver.

    Never seen waste pipeslices myself.

I have a 3/8 ratchet set with long sockets. I find it very handy for taps to do/remove the nuts in tight spaces

Must have been a bit of a sale on them around then Jim. I think mine are of a similar age. Only needed to fix the hinge on the box with a couple of brass butt hinges. great little set.

If I were you corkgsxr, I'd go buy a set. I have them 2 years now, and the blades are still perfect. Plus theres spare blades inside the cutter. 1 or 2 turns and the pipe is cut clean and perfectly square. Rothenberger make them
