Cheapo LED as indicator

    Howdy,

    I got some cheap ebay SMD LEDs which work fine as tail lights but don't as indicators.

    I thought it was because I have noticed some house hold LED units (proper Duracell) take about half a second to light up but by inserting and taking out the LED from tail lights quickly, there is no issue.

    Twas just a punt really, more curious than anything. There is no quick flash of the indicators associated with some LED Indicator Google searches.

    Car is a mkiv Golf.

    Are you sure the polarity is the right way round?
