    Hi
We just bought a mid terrace victorian house. We love it but it faces onto a busy main road, it currently has two double glazed pvc bay windows, a regular window and the original wooden front door facing the road. The noise especially from the front door is driving us nuts.
We are planning on putting an internal porch as we aren't willing to replace the original door.
We are looking to replace the existing pvc double glaze with sash windows with a combination of double glazing with low e and an acoustic pane ( saw this on lots of sites in London but can't find the same in ireland). To address the noise while giving insulation, we've read that triple glaze is no guarantee against noise which is why I'm looking for an acoustic pane. We definitely don't want any secondary glazing panels put in,

Does anyone know anywhere that sells sash windows with an option of acoustic glass?

    Thanks a million
