    Hi All,

With just over a month to go to the 5th Annual Ring of North Kerry Cycle we want to bring you up to date with all the news for the 2015 event.

There are two new routes of 85kms and 135kms taking in even more of the beautiful north Kerry countryside.

    85km route. http://www.bikemap.net/en/route/2896966-ronk-short-route-2015/
    135km route. http://www.bikemap.net/en/route/2896973-2015-ronk-long-route/

We have launched our new website www.ronkcycle.com which has the link for online registration.

Our event sponsors have presented us with a beautiful Moda Rubato bike as a prize for one lucky online registration. The bike retails at €1350 and comes equipped with Shimano 105 mechs and American Classic Victory wheels.

This year we will have three food-stops with two new stations in Ballybunion and Ardfert and our regular refreshments starting and finishing in Finuge.

We are providing as good value as ever with entry fees starting at €25 for Cycling Ireland members and €27 for non-cycling Ireland members.

Registration on the day will be €30 and €32 and you will not have a chance at winning the Moda Rubato bike.

There will be full medical back up on the road and an expanded mechanical team to ensure you and your bike reach the end.

Come join us and take in the stunning scenery, the friendly welcome and the challenge of The RoNK 2015.

Hoping to see you on the 8th August

    Finuge Freewheelers CC.

The 5th Ring of North Kerry Cycle on August 8th.

Two super new routes of 85kms & 135kms.

Join us for a cycle around the rugged beauty of North Kerry.

    New routes, same warm welcome.

We are pleased to now announce that we are now offering a reduced entry fee to The RoNK of €15 for all cyclists aged 16 and younger. Registration for this age group will take place on the morning at Finuge from 07.30am. We would like to offer every encouragement to young cyclists to take part. All we ask is that younger cyclists are accompanied by adult participants.

Mechanical and medical supports will be available on the route.

Hoping to see you there on the 8th.

Thanks for this! I was reminded of this at my bike fit :) but I only just registered moments ago after seeing your reminder post. Lovely looking new site too btw!

Now, lookit, it's the very day after I attend a Wedding. I'll be there in mind if I don't physically make it that morning to actually cycle 85km, only 82km according to the map. That extra 3km off could make the huge difference for me cycling that morning.

I'll be driving for the wedding so in all likelihood I won't be drinking but it'll still be a long day after busy days leading upto it.
This Cycle could be what I'd need though to clear my head so Hopefully I'll be there!

    Many Thanks,
    kerry4sam

Very well run event. Thanks to all the friendly people involved from start to finish.

The wind made it very hard going but at least it was at our backs for the last 25k or so.

Short route turned out tougher than the elevation profile suggested alright haha.
The enthusiasm and friendliness was a big plus.

Thanks guys for turning up and cycling the RoNk.

The day turned out dirty after staring out with strong headwinds and rain in the afternoon but everyone came back home safely.

We look forward to seeing you again in 2016.
